Зустріч відбувалася в межах програм BeGlobal та BE-Relieve Ukraine і стала частиною ширшої ініціативи Мережі асоційованих шкіл ЮНЕСКО. Захід був присвячений питанню культурного та освітнього обміну між закладами освіти України із закладами загальної середньої освіти Бельгії, які є частиною мережі асоційованих шкіл ЮНЕСКО. Метою було встановлення продуктивних відносин та обміну досвідом між шкільними спільнотами, вивчати питання сталого розвитку та спадщини ЮНЕСКО.
Навчальний візит відбувся у Брюсселі з 24.03 до 29.03 2025 як у офісі Бельгійського агентства з розвитку Enabel, так і на території інституцій-партнерів (Європейського парламенту, Університету Льовена, фламандських шкіл, які є частиною мережі асоційованих шкіл ЮНЕСКО.)
З першого дня українська делегація була залучена до обговорення, обміну думками та активно приймала участь у цікавих і корисних воркшопах. Але найбільш неочікуваною виявилась участь у створенні мозаїчного панно з плитки, в тому числі привезеної із шкіл, будівлі яких зазнали пошкодження. Більшість з нас ніколи не користувалась інструментами, які допомогли спільними зусиллями зробити із шматочків плитки мозаїчне панно по малюнку учениці університету Крок. Ця креативна та символічна робота згуртувала, здружила і об’єднала всіх учасників з першого дня.

The Belgian development agency Enabel invited English teachers Svitlana Blokhina, Lyudmila Khymeryk and a 9-A grade student Anna Golubnycha from Brovary Lyceum No. 4 named after S.I. Oliinyk to an educational visit as part of a delegation of 27 principals, teachers and students from 10 schools in Kyiv, Chernihiv regions and Kyiv, led by the National Coordinator of UNESCO Associated Schools in Ukraine, Ms. Tetyana Fedunova.
The meeting took place within the framework of the BeGlobal and BE-Relieve Ukraine programs and became part of a broader initiative of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network. The event was dedicated to the issue of cultural and educational exchange between educational institutions of Ukraine and general secondary education institutions of Belgium, which are part of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network. The goal was to establish productive relations and exchange experiences between school communities, to study issues of sustainable development and UNESCO heritage.
The study visit took place in Brussels from 24.03 to 29.03.2025 both at the office of the Belgian Development Agency Enabel and on the territory of partner institutions (European Parliament, University of Leuven, Flemish schools, which are part of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network.)
From the first day, the Ukrainian delegation was involved in discussions, exchange of views and actively participated in interesting and useful workshops. But the most unexpected was participation in the creation of a mosaic panel from tiles, including those brought from schools whose buildings were damaged. Most of us had never used the tools that helped us to make a mosaic panel from pieces of tiles according to the drawing of a student of Krok University. This creative and symbolic work united, brought together and united all participants from the first day.
