Zoom meeting with Japanese students

Internet gives endless possibilities to meet new people, communicate with them and get to know interesting facts about other countries. Japan is rather far country from Ukraine so the students were glad to have the opportunity to socialize with the Japanese students.

   

       Японія стала новим партнером Броварської гімназії у 2020-2021 навчальному році. 23 грудня учні 10-их та 11-их класів Броварської гімназії ім. С. І. Олійника зустрілися в  Zoom з учнями партнерської  школи з міста Нагасакі, Японія в рамках різновекторного міжнародного  проекту «Meetings through distance ».

 

         Для знайомства з нашою країною учні гімназії підготували презентацію про Україну, її звички та традиції, продемонстрували витвори прикладного мистецтва та заспівали народних пісень. В свою чергу японські школярі розповіли про свою країну, особливості східної культури та писемності. Апогеєм презентації гостей стала пісня у дивовижному виконанні японської учениці.

  

 

       Корисним моментом для розвитку практики англійської мови було живе спілкування українських та японських учнів на теми хобі та дозвілля, які стали найбільш обговорюваними та захоплюючими. Учень 10 кл. Щукін Данііл зіграв на гітарі чарівні мелодії. Наприкінці зустрічі  учні обмінялися адресами соціальних мереж для подальшого спілкування. 

 

Japan became closer

         Japan became a new partner of the Brovary Gymnasium in the 2020-2021 academic year. On December 23, students of the 10th and 11th grades of the Brovary Gymnasium named after S.I. Oliinyk met in Zoom with students of a partner school from the city of Nagasaki, Japan within the framework of the multi-vector international project "Meetings through distance".

    

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

         To get to know our country, the high school students prepared a presentation about Ukraine, its habits and traditions, demonstrated works of applied art and sang folk songs. In turn, Japanese schoolchildren told about their country, peculiarities of Eastern culture and writing.

     

       The highlight was a beautiful song performed by a Japanese schoolgirl. A useful moment for the development of English language practice was the live communication between Ukrainian and Japanese students on the topics of hobbies and leisure, which became the most discussed and exciting. At the end of the communication, the students exchanged social network addresses for further communication.
